What is a Shiny Pokémon?
A Shiny Pokémon is a Pokémon that is of a different colour than its regular counterpart. The chance that you would find a shiny is 1/8192 if playing Gen 2-5 and 1/4096 if playing Gen 6-7. There are ways that you can increase your chances of getting a shiny, which will be covered here so you can get started of hunting your own shinies. If you have more questions, you can contact me on Google+.
